Australia $100,000,000,000 in Hoc and counting
Whilst Australia, and to be fair only some as most are losing interest, are embroiled in John Grant Family Motors, the nation has continued on its merry journey over the Wollomombi Falls into the dark chasm of Federal financial insolvency.
The Office of Financial Management has informed this office that our current issuance of debt and notes has arrived at $100,000,000,000 dollars. It is about the only thing that the Labor Government is ahead, way, way ahead, years ahead, of schedule on.
The Labor Government has our nation way ahead of not being able to afford the PBS to subsidise health costs. The Labor Government has us way ahead on not being able to access funds for future crisis that may arise. The Labor Government has us all way ahead on not being able to fund the public service. Labor has us way ahead on not being able to fund solar panels. Labor has us way ahead on not being able to fund our defence requirements.
The Labor party is upset that they are not on time for a new scheme that will raise tens of billions in a desperate attempt to balance the books on a premise of global climatic salvation which is completely implausible in its form and supported by no-one except Labor. That is their Employment Termination Scheme the ETS.
Labor should be given 10 out of 10 for their efforts in Drama but the Economics and Mathematics are going to prove a real problem in the electoral exam.
