As we come to the end of the week our prayers and deepest sympathies should remain with Lance Corporal Jason Marks, his family and friends.

Once more an Australian solider has paid the supreme sacrifice for the defence of our nation so that the battles are fought elsewhere and not on Australian soil. If it was not for the sacrifice offered by Lance Corporal Marks, and now unfortunately, paid for by his family the troubles, tyrannies and threat of servitude of elsewhere would be delivered to Australia.
