Senator Joyce today expressed sympathy to Professor Cullen’s wife and family.

“He had an expert, deep and continuing interest in water issues in Australia and, although people did not always agree with Professor Cullen, they did believe he brought integrity and intellect into the water debate.

“At a personal level he was seen as a congenial and warm individual and will be sadly missed by the people of Queensland, especially those in the Lower Balonne/Condamine. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family at this time.” Senator Joyce said.
