Mr Rudd has decided to delay ''the great moral and economic challenge of our time'' the ETS, to another time – after election time. Mr Rudd has made a habit of delaying the ''the great moral challenge of our time''. A time outside the election cycle is the most convenient because Mr Rudd’s “great moral challenge of our time” is apparently not recognised as an issue that Mr Rudd can fix.
Mr Rudd is the very essence of a moral conviction politician. He has earnestly delayed the “great moral challenge of our time”, to a later time. Mr Rudd has taken a very principled stand to cease and desist in pursuing the “great moral challenge of our time” till after election time.
Yes, it oozes of insincerity.
The National Party has always believed that the ETS was nothing more than the moralistic manipulation of the Australian public to rip money out of their pocket for an issue that the Labor Party could not possibly fix.
The National Party however, did believe that the Labor Party believed it was important. Now, we can’t even believe that the Labor Party believes this.
In summary, it is hard to believe anything about Mr Rudd these days.
