The Australian National Audit Office report on Labor’s Better Regions program catalogues more examples of Labor waste and mismanagement.
The report finds that the Labor Government took over 7 months to realise that it had allocated two grants to the same project, the $275,000 Adelaide Hills Business Centre.
“What hope does the Australian public have when Labor can’t even keep track of its own spending? How can Australians have any hope that a flood levy will be spent effectively and go to those who deserve it under a Labor government” said Senator Joyce, Shadow Minister for Regional Development today.
“The claim that there is no “fat left in the budget” rings hollow, when so many examples of waste and mismanagement keep cropping up.
