Media Releases - Economy

Last week they were labelled by Labor as Dungeons and Dragons conventionists, extremists, Ku Klux Klan members, odd balls and “that other audience”. On Saturday they were called voters and the voters decided they were not happy with the ALP, the Greens or the Independents.

The Green/Labor/Independent “GLI movement” hardly received a resounding vote of confidence and here is yet another reason why there should be an immense feeling of concern as to where they are taking our nation.

Craig James, Chief Economist with CommSec said, “The underlying budget deficit deteriorated in January and now stands just shy of record highs. In the 12- months to January, the budget deficit totalled $62.3 billion, an increase of almost $3.8 billion on the deficit for the 12 months to December.  The budget deficit of $40.7 billion for the seven months to January is also $2.1 billion above the “profile” or expected deficit for the period.

Deficits add up to debt and debt has to be repaid. It is always the same game .The Green/Labor/Independents play and then the National and Liberal party have to pay.  The Labor Party is currently trying to make you pay through new taxes, the carbon tax, the mining tax or some other contrived tax to stack up the books. The reason you have to pay this way is because of ludicrous ideas like the school halls, 2020 forum, the waste in indigenous housing and the $900 cheques that were supposed to re-kick the global economy via your electrical retail store.

The result is you have a gross Federal debt of $183.801 billion and the massive State legacy debt such as Queensland with $85 billion and a Federal deficit as just described.

The reaction of the people, well I saw that at the Tamworth High School polling booth on the weekend -they just want them gone.
