This week in politics

29

There is quite obviously quite a lot of speculation today in the media about Mr Turnbull and his position as Leader of the Opposition.
“Even though I don’t agree with him on some issues, I do believe that he believes in them”, according to Nationals Senator Barnaby Joyce.
“If someone is to have authenticity then they must have a philosophical vein.”
“If they don’t then they become extremely dangerous people and they are called populist, that is those people who are dictated by the poll numbers in everything that they do. “
“These are the people who you can trust the least because when you drill down to the real issues they purport to believe in, they don’t believe in anything.”
