From ABC Illawarra Barnaby Joyce says 20,000 jobs will be lost under Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme

If your ears were burning last night it might have been because Senator Barnaby Joyce was talking about you.

On the latest episode of ABC1's Q&A the Leader of The Nationals in the Senate took on the Federal Minister for Environment Peter Garret over the government's Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme.

Senator Joyce asked the Minister to 'justify those plans to the 20,000 people in the Illawarra who'll lose their jobs as a result.'

Tony Arthur spoke to Senator Joyce on why he felt the Illawarra would suffer such substantial job losses as a result of the scheme.
