The Murray-Darling Basin Authority has announced today that it will release the Draft Basin Plan on 28th November 2011.
But before then it is already turning to dust. The Premier of South Australia, Mr Weatherill, has rejected it and the Victorian Water Minister, Peter Walsh, has said that he has "enormous reservations" about it. The plan was deferred for the third time this year to mid-November.
Now, according to the Labor party, mid-November extends to the 28th.
If the Labor party changed their target from CO2 and concentrated just a little bit more on H2O, there might just be an outside chance of getting a conclusion.
It has become apparent that the whole plan is becoming asunder at the same time of Julia Gillard's final fiasco.
The Labor party has always said that if things didn't turn around they would change the leader by Christmas. Well, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
It is the Labor party's fault that they have no bank of trust with the public. The Labor party is doing what they have to and announcing a fiasco before it happens.
