This week in politics

07

Funding for projects across Australia has been announced today from the Regional Development Australia Fund and regional Tasmania gets - nothing.

A big cheerio and congratulations to the regional Labor party members in Tasmania who got – nothing, out of the first round of funding.

You should consider becoming an Independent because Tony Windsor got $8 million which is more than the whole of Tasmania got. In fact, Tony Windsor’s seat alone got about 25% more than the whole of Tasmania got.

If you want to get something in Tasmania you should be like the member for the seat of Dennison who took a seat off you.

In fact he got $6.63 million off you because you got – nothing. Yes, to be a Labor party member in regional Tasmania means that you deserve nothing. You are just jolly good people who can be taken for granted.

My advice to you is to be like Tony Windsor and go independent and you get that opportunity at the vote for the carbon tax.

You can thank your party for giving you nothing by voting against the carbon tax which virtually no one in your seat wants.

People have been leaving Tasmania in droves because there isn't any work available. According to the television news, a house in Tasmania can be bought for little more than a song.

Perhaps the intention of the Slave Labor Party is to turn The Apple Isle over to the Chinese.

From what I heard, China is flush with cash and about to purchase a large slice of the Italian economy. Forget about anything as insignificant as a pizza.

Sadly, any extra monies made available to present day Tasmania, would only be gobbled up by the bureacracy. It's the way it is at the moment.

The state government has a "grand vision" for Tasmania, and ordinary people don't appear to be part of that vision.
Indeed, I'm sure ordinary working type people are seen by a certain element, as something that spoils the scenery.

Only wish I had a National party or even a sensible independent candidate to vote for down here.

I bet they don't carry out an organised cull of possums, scrub turkeys, Hendra Virus carrying bats or whatever the local animal pests are either.

They want to keep the animals, birds and trees, not human beings or jobs.

I said some time back that all Labor want is to turn Australia West of the Divide into 1 great big coal pit. I am sorry I was so correct. I wish I had never said that now, but we can all see money is far more important to some Politicians than people and even the Sovereignty of our most beautiful country. We must stop that, help us Barnaby
I voted for Tony Windsor for the many years he has been in Parlaiment and now I cannot believe he has turned his back on his constituents. Shame on you Tony.

Then take a look at these links to the government's CSIRO Energymark program:

I live in the Ferny Grove state electorate here in Queensland. In 2010 state Labor MP Geoff Wilson gave his Green "opposition" $300,000 to get the people of Samford onto a Low Carbon Diet. It doesn't appear to contain any red meat!

A local publication advertised a movie called "Carbon Nation" being shown for the cost of a voluntary gold coin donation at Ferny Grove High School last Thursday night.

Here is part of the spiel to entice viewers:

“Carbon Nation is a climate change solutions movie that doesn’t care if you believe in climate change. It is an inspirations, optimistic, solutions-based, non-preachy, non-partisan, film. It’s a jazzy, fast moving snapshot of business leaders that are doing things differently and taking up new technologies.”

(Notice people being described as “that” again {objects}, also using a manipulative ploy to get the people to come along. As if a movie would actually care about anything!)

It is about becoming frugal, creating no waste, saving energy and various other options to deal with Climate Change. There is a description of groups of 8 families working together as a micro-community – one great big happy supportive co-operative family.

We are clearly being groomed for a peasant lifestyle and diet. In the future, we are expected to grow fruit trees on footpaths for all to share. I bet we will also have to grow all of our own food supply down the back, while the Chinese help themselves to whatever farming and grazing land remains, after 80% is turned over to the bats and possums.
