This week in politics

29

Well, Julia Gillard is certainly not wearing out her stilettos but, by gosh, Simon Crean seems to have more zest at the moment than a juicy new season lemon.

While the Prime Minister has kept close to Canberra and Melbourne, Simon has been to Geelong, Rockhampton and Queanbeyan.

Pray tell, what is he up to? What has inspired this youthful exuberance?

Mind you it doesn't matter who is riding this donkey, it's not going to win the Cup.

If it wasn't so sad it would be hilarious but Simon Crean's message to the regions is that they should "embrace the challenge" of meeting the house payments with social security.

Simon Crean told Rockhampton radio the other day:

“... we have important packages of support there for industries and regions prepared to embrace the challenge.” (http://www.minister.regional.gov.au/sc/pressconf/2011/SCT048_2011.aspx)

All of this embracing is starting to make me feel awkward.

First of all, compensation requires first something to go wrong and the thing that is going to go wrong is your electricity bill or your job.

No one gets paid compensation without first being inflicted by an injury.

Regional Australia is about to have to deal with a new independent, unelected government body, the Climate Change Authority, like the Reserve Bank. The Reserve Bank might put up interest rates; the Climate Change Authority will definitely put up your taxes.

They can do this without any more legislation being passed after the introduction of the carbon tax.

Not only do we have taxation without representation, we are going to the brave new world of taxation without legislation.

This will be enforced by a new battalion of green police, the Climate Change Regulator. Rather than the Keystone Cops we will have Australia's own Tombstone Regulators, they will give new meaning to that famous line from the western movie ... Regulators, mount up!

Dear Mr Senator Barnaby Joyce.

Since we seem to be heading to a police state, government control of our lives. Sometimes as a citizen where you have no say until election day. it is best to once organized yourself to move to different country which doesn't have these taxes, eg Canada. I think once I finish my studies, that will be my aim, so Australia can't tax me I'll use my Italian passport and drop my residency, so I can't be taxed overseas with earnings.

I heard they will have Carbon cops? How can you run a business if these people say you have been emitting? How can they prove this, I mean tree and soil also emit C02. Any why do people still refer C02 as pollution. I was watching the Sunrise with Joe Hockey and the presenter refer to C02 as pollution. We have so many uneducated people who are in position of power or news media who have no clue about how the planet operates, they even quote economist. Sorry but economist don't have any experience in climate. If they support a carbon tax, it is because either they work for a bank or a big corporation who will profit from the carbon tax, but not the small business. Too many journalist with no experience and asking dumb silly questions without doing any researching, we have a lazy mod running the media and the government. At least American politic ask the hard question and C02 isn't one of them as they all know it is a hoax. I hope you can defeat this government. Maybe America defaulting might be a good thing, You can't tax something if their is no income to tax from the mining sector if China have to stop buying because of the situation in America. China has invested Trillions of dollars in the American economy, so America defaulting will put China in a bad position which might save Australia from this toxic tax as China will have to slow down its buying of our coal. I can't see any other option how to stop the Greens taxing everyone who has money

Barnaby level with us. Is Julia Gillard really a Coalition plant, sent in to end the relationship the ALP has with the working class and expose the danger of the Greens ? If so well done.

NATIONAL CENSUS

Very soon the government will expect us to either fill out a National Census Form or to complete it online. The questionnaire contains an optional question about religious faith.

On Friday night, I saw a man on TV from an atheist society asking that we all tick the "NO RELIGION" box. He said the churches had too much say in government matters.

I encourage everyone to tick the Religion Box that they prefer, because despite recent pledges of government support for chaplains, there are moves afoot to remove chaplains from our schools, with a constitutional challenge being mounted to the High Court.

School chaplains provide a counselling service for students and are the backbone of the counselling team in many of our schools.

We know that church organisations endeavour to feed the hungry, run cheap op-shops for the poor and help the community in numerous other ways.

If various aspects of the Green Carbon Religion can be taught in our schools as part of science, geography, agricultural and Family Planning lessons, we need RE teachers and Chaplains in our schools to counter-balance various recidivist ideas which are connected with Green ideology.

The churches provide better wages and working conditions in Aged Care than the corporate sector, and are more likely to hang onto good compassionate staff.

There are moves afoot to tax the churches out of existence, so that corporates can take over. Corporates are already buying up church run Aged Care Centres, using money ripped out of our aging relatives, while getting away with NOT providing basic necessities for staff and residents.

With the Green religion will come non-voluntary Euthanasia, even more recidivist pro-abortion and pro-homosexual laws, disarmament of our nation and mass starvation. All of these serve the Population Control agenda in accordance with Labor/Greens ideology.

-------------------------

Under a Labor/Greens government, the battalion of Green Police described by Barnaby will eventually replace our defence forces, leaving us wide open to attack from other nations. (Greens are anti-war pacifists who believe in disarmament.)

The Chinese government alone has the capacity to raise a 600 million strong army (approx. 30 times our entire population).

I think it is already bad enough that Labor is selling off Queensland Rail and Ports to make it easy for Chinese corporations to take over the land and remove copious quantities of food from our shores.

As we know, a second Tax on Air, water rationing, water charges, punitive vegetation laws and the accompanying uncertainty are primarily designed to remove farming and grazing families from their land.

Now get this! The USA is proposing to charge an Uncertainty Tax to overcome their massive foreign debt crisis. If Americans were not already crying into their coffees/beers, I'm sure they would all nearly die laughing at the preposterous nature of such a proposal.

Look at the mess the carbon tax has made of New Zealand. The people were told there that nothing would go up and what a lie that was. Poor little New Zealand what percentage of carbon were they putting into the atmosphere. When the big polluters like China, India and USA introduce carbon tax then it might make some sense that small countries like Australia and NZ do the same until then we might as well be "pissing in the wind". All this tax will do is destroy us!!!!! What are our politicians thinking!!! And they LIED!!!!!! AGAIN!!

Theresa:

Yes, that's right. I could certainly use some help on the National Seniors of Australia blog, where I have been battling abusive Labor/Greens supporters for weeks, largely on my own.

The topics currently being discussed are:

Citizenship Test
Carbon Pricing Scheme

Please help!
