I must say this is starting to follow a certain character trait for a person who last time presumed I was “a bearded lady”.&#160;I have to keep reminding myself he is a senior office holder in the government.</span></div> <div>&#160;</div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt">However the essence of his question appears to be that we haven’t been keeping up our work rate in pursuit of Labor. For the man who admitted himself that he doesn’t “dot the i’s and cross the t’s”, I am happy to inform him that in the past 24 hours we have put out two media releases, one involving an analysis of 15 years of debt in Australia, another one alluding to a complete lack of management and expertise that is condoned by the Labor government and exemplified by the ceiling insulation debacle.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt">&#160;</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt">Mr Tanner is the Minister and in the last 24 hours he has put out nothing. The last week he has put out nothing. In fact the last media release he put out was on the 15th February. Mind you there’s not a lot lately he may wish to talk about.</span></div> <div>&#160;</div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt">Mr Tanner really does have the form of a person who doesn’t “dot the i’s and cross the t’s”. Mr Tanner’s attributes are well reflected in our national debt; rolling grand visions and wondrous promises as the ship of state takes water. </span></div> <div>&#160;</div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt">&#160;If you have any doubts, see my last media release.</span></div> <div><b>&#160;</b></div>

Thank you very much for these very informative press releases. Keep 'em coming Barnaby, and don't let those leftist reporters bother you.

Now, I have just watched the ABC 7.30 Report with Kerry O'Brien and Kevin Rudd, tonight, Thursday 25 Feb'.

Barnaby ...could you explain something to me, that I don't yet understand?

Kevin Rudd, tonight, took full blame and responsibility for the deadly insulation programme that has killed Australians, burnt down Australian homes, left over 6,000 people without a job, destituted & worried sick ...and businesses toes up and going bankrupt ...ruining many Australian lives for the rest of their lives. That's too much for us other Australians to try to share in bearing their pain and hurt and suffering. We are overwhelmed in their grief.

Ok, that we can feel in inadequate empathy.

Now here's what I need your help on, Barnaby, because I don't yet understand, ok?

Kevin is borrowing $400,000,000 per week from the Chinese via sale to them of Australian Government Bonds, right?

Kevin has paid for the deadly insulation programme so far, with borrowed Chinese money that we, Australian taxpayers, have to pay back with interest, the rest of our lives, right?

Kevin now says he takes full responsibility for this deadly insulation programme ...BUT ...Kevin is going to borrow more money from the Chinese, on our unapproved behalf ...to pay for Kevin and Peter's foolish deadly botch-up ...for which, not only us, but our Australian Children are going to have to pay back with interest, the rest of their lives, too, right?

Here's my conundrum that I don't yet understand, ok?

If Kevin and Peter are accepting full responsibility for this deadly insulation programme ...WHY? ...OH WHY?? ...OHH WHY??? are WE ...the Australian taxpayers, and our children, as future Australian taxpayers, going to be required to have to PAY THE PENALTY FOR KEVIN AND PETER'S SINS, THE REST OF OUR LIVES, AND OUR CHILDREN'S LIVES???

...and why will Kevin and Peter get off Scott free, with no penalty whatsoever???!

Can you answer that question for me, Barnaby ...and all my fellow Australian taxpayers!

Why is it that Kevin and Peter started this deadly disaster in the first place, with borrowed money ...and then Kevin steps in and "solves" the problem he and Peter created in the first place, by borrowing more money ...and then, after using our borrowed money with interest, which he will require us to pay on his behalf ...he'll probably pat himself on the back on national TV and say ..."I put in my thumb and pulled out a plum, and said: What a good boy am I!!!"

Thank you for your time, Barnaby.

Keep up your good work. We ordinary hard working Australians love you and what you are trying to do with all your heart and mind and being!

Keep pumpin'!

what utter bullshit ken murray.

iits about time that the installers took some blame

the govt made the offer to aid power consumption but as alway private ent. wants to cut corners and do things as cheaply as possib;le

it is the installers that caused the problesms.

the PE are always crying poor about govt regulations and controls as

the free market system will weed them out

correct so dont blame the bloke paying the bills its comes from PE inate desire to rort the system and be shoddy.

another point is that the govt has design cotrols on vehicles that are sold in OZ does that mean that people whose kids are killed on the roads should be compensated??

ban cars eh??

4 death althiugh not nice is but a fraction of those killed on the roads.

3 deaths in ~ 1.0 million homes

road deaths ~ 60 per million homes!!

60 times or if you like bigger number a rate 6000% higher!!

The very fact they're targeting you is the greatest compliment you could have. - Stick it to them, Barnaby.

rob,

wouldn't you think that the argument is that rudd, garret & co were warned about the issues and failed to do anything

Mr Tanner is just one of the Labor party goons who relishes on rubbising others while he does nothing himself. Over paid and under employed.
