“The Nationals have been instrumental in the provision of $220 million to accelerate works to improve the safety of the Bruce Highway between Townsville and Cairns, and an extra $48 million to the Tully Flood Works project” Senator Joyce said tonight.

“On top of the relief given for the exemption of the long held family farm in the assessment of pensions, the National Party has fought and won for an increase in small business rollover relief, the net asset limit now being $6 million.”

“This Budget is a clear example of an effective National Party delivering for small business and the people of North Queensland.”
