Nationals' Senator, Barnaby Joyce, welcomed today the nomination of Warren Truss as leader of The Nationals.

“It will be great to see this position returned to Queensland after a long period away. With the upcoming State election it is essential Queensland plays a major role in the re-establishment of conservative politics in Australia and having the leader of The Nationals based in Queensland will assist in the process.” Senator Joyce said.
