“Mr Rudd is showing a clear pattern of lack of clarity. He cannot commit on ethanol and greenhouse gas reductions. He is instead “considering it”, which is very considerate to the major oil companies.

“He has no opinion on Traveston Dam though the mythical story of his childhood suggests he grew up in the area.

“He is running with sympathy for the Transport Workers Union in their battle to preserve jobs at Qantas but hunting with the foreign equity predators as they try to buy out Qantas.

“Rudd’s position on the single desk, to protect Australian exports market from decimation by the United States, is more cryptic than a crossword.

“The latest jaw dropper is that he was apparently going to tear up the IR laws but now he is keeping them.

“Finally, he was respecting the solemnity of the Anzac Day dawn service by moving it to a more convenient timeslot – for him.”
