Senator Joyce welcomed the result of the strong National party input into the Budget with the strengthening of our Northern Australian fishing sovereignty.

“Five new fishing vessel crematoriums will be the fait accompli for those who come to steal our fish.”

Senator Joyce welcomed the $389 million, over four years, which includes increased patrol capability and air surveillance to protect, for our fishermen, their fishing grounds.

“I know Northern Australia has been asking for this programme and will be looking forward to its roll out as quickly as possible,” he said.
